HYDERABAD: The secretary general of the Communist Party of Pakistan (CPP) and convener of the Popular Left Alliance, Comrade Imdad Kazi, has expressed concern over Israel’s expansionist designs, warmongering and atrocities against the people of Palestine. In a statement issued here on Wednesday, he said the Israeli leaders were committing inhuman excesses and war crimes at the behest of imperialist block of the world. Israel was busy in the genocide of innocent men, women and children, he added. The CPP leader said Israel was causing provocation for war, endangering millions of human lives in the Middle East and Gulf states. He was highly critical of the silence of the Muslim and Pakistani rulers over the situation in Gaza and their policies aimed at appeasing the imperialist forces. He has appealed to peace loving youth, students, labourers and citizens to lodge strong protests against the Israeli rulers, their patron states and those maintaining discreet silence over the situation in order to put an end to one-year long genocide of the Palestinians and people in Gaza, Lebanon and occupied Arab territories. He expressed his concern over what he said the war expanding to Iran after Lebanon and Yemen. He said the barbarism of the imperialist forces had clearly proved that they were the biggest enemies of peace and humanity on the Earth. Mr Kazi said that unless people got rid of the imperialist forces, barbarism could not be put to an end. He said the CPP and the alliance had appealed to peace loving people all over the country to hold strong protests against Israel.
