British rapper Stormzy has been slapped with a penalty after broke a law. Last year in March, an undercover police officer caught the UK based singer using a mobile phone while driving a £225,000 Rolls Royce on Addison Road west Kensington in London. Stormzy received a letter by the authorities which pleaded him guilty for driving the car while using an electronic device. Therefore, a driving ban was imposed on the rapper for nine-months. The singer’s solicitor informed the Wimbledon Magistrates Court that the artist has accepted his mistake. According to the District judge Andre Sweet, the 31-year-old artist’s driving records was ‘not good’ as he only had six points left on his license due to his previous speeding offences. He has often been criticized for his ‘dangerous and irresponsible actions’ while driving. This is not the first time the rapper has been charged of a road offence. Previously, Stormzy was caught driving a Lamborghini Urus tinted to 4% light transmission, which means he violated 70% of the requirement. The undercover police officer told in the court hearing that he asked the singer to ‘get rid of the tints and get off your phone.’
