ISLAMABAD: Coordinator to the Prime Minister on Health Dr Mukhtar Malik Bharat on Monday claimed that the govt would take all possible steps to provide vaccine to every child under Expanded Programme of Immunisation (EPI). “I salute the unsung heroes of our vaccine drives—the champions who knock every door to ensure that the children of Pakistan receive their vaccines and live healthy futures,” he said while talking to participants of an event. At the occasion District Health Office inaugurated the “Big Catch-Up” activity under the banner of the “From Zero to Hero” campaign. Dr Mukhtar reaffirmed the government’s commitment to providing children all essential vaccines. “This initiative is dedicated to vaccinating children who missed their routine immunisations during the pandemic, ensuring no child is left behind in the fight against preventable diseases,” he said.
