BAJAUR: Speakers at a workshop said here on Wednesday that alternative dispute resolution was the best, easy and legal way for speedy and durable solution of all types of issues among people, especially land-related disputes as there was no proper record of lands in the district. The two-day training workshop for members of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) committee was arranged by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). At the workshop, the first of its kind since the introduction of ADR system in the district in May 2021, the participants were informed about the ways and techniques to resolve disputes among rival parties amicably. According to a statement, officials of USAID, director of land settlement project, and deputy director of provincial board of revenue addressed the workshop.
