This is regarding the article “Inspirational teachers from around the world” by Mirha Asif (YW, October 5). The writer provided comprehensive information about amazing teachers from around the world. Many educators worldwide are known for their distinctive qualities. We should learn from them and see them as guiding lights. This is regarding the article “The irreplaceable love of grandparents” by Muhammad Majid Shafi (YW, October 12). As grandchildren grow up, grandparents grow older and need companionship, a need often overlooked. The article highlighted this aspect. It’s crucial that we should talk to them and remind them of our love, as nothing brings more happiness in their lives than hearing loving words from their grandchildren. This is regarding the article “The grand sweetness” by Syed Zain Husain (YW, October 12). As a child, I could sense my grandparents’ desire to see their grandchildren always happy and for that, they would tell stories and give small treats. Grandparents are often great listeners — something increasingly rare in today’s digital world. We should take the opportunity to share our problems with them, as their wealth of experience can offer valuable guidance. The article “The grand sweetness” by Syed Zain Hussain emphasised the importance of spending time with our grandparents, learning from them, and seeking their guidance. We should also prioritise their health and needs. If our grandparents live far away, we should make an effort to call them regularly to express our love and respect.
