In New Year’s clip, Meghan is seen running barefoot along the shore near her Montecito home, pausing to trace "2025" in the sand before laughing and dashing away. While the post has drawn millions of likes, critics have labeled her Instagram comeback as both "hypocritical" and "ridiculous." "They [Harry and Meghan] left social media citing unparalleled abuse," Rae remarked. “Harry has publicly criticized platforms like Facebook, owned by Meta, which also owns Instagram. So, this sudden return feels baffling.” Rae also questioned the fanfare surrounding the duchess’s post. "She’s had this dormant Instagram account for years, with whispers of a sensational comeback.
