KARACHI: Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori administered the oath to provincial minister Mukesh Kumar Chawla in a ceremony held here on Monday. Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah was also present during the oath-taking ceremony at Governor House. The CM had already allocated the portfolio of excise, taxation and narcotics control to Mr Chawla, who had held the same portfolio during the last three terms of the Pakistan Peoples Party-led provincial government. Earlier, the chief minister held a meeting with the governor and discussed matters of mutual interests, including the ongoing development projects in the province. A press release issued from the Governor House said that the governor had assured the chief minister that the federal government’s cooperation to the provincial government for the uplift of the province would continue.
