KARACHI: A man was stabbed to death on the outskirts of the metropolis, police said on Tuesday. Memon Goth SHO Tahir Qadri said that Ali Akbar, 45, was killed by his close relatives at Samoo Goth. However, it was not clear whether the incident was motivated by some property dispute or so-called honour, he added. He said the killers had been identified and the police were waiting for victim’s relatives to lodge a FIR to initiate formal legal proceedings. The body was shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for medico-legal formalities. Meanwhile, a man, identified as Ayaz Habib, 40, was shot at and wounded by robbers over resistance off Superhighway, police said.
