ISLAMABAD: Keeping in view the recent road closure in the wake of PTI protest, the Islamabad Electric Supply Company (Iesco) has extended the due date for payment of electricity bills.. According to circular, the due date for payment of electricity bills for batch Nos. 2, 3, 4, 24, 27, 28, and 29 has been extended to Nov 29. “Considering the law and order situation and road closures causing difficulties for consumers in paying their electricity bills, the due date for payment of electricity bills has been extended to November 29,” said a spokesperson for the power utility. It further stated that consumers can pay their electricity bills without any hassle or additional surcharge. All revenue offices of the Iesco region, authorised banks and post offices have been notified in advance in this regard,” the Iesco spokesperson said.
