LAHORE: The Lahore Electric Supply Company has started work for laying insulated wires to protect the trees from cutting and trimming. Lesco CEO Engineer Shahid Haider told the media that 11kV wires of the Racecourse feeder were affected due to sprouting of trees’ branches along the transmission line. He said: “We have not preferred to cut or trim the trees but replaced the 6.8km long respective transmission line with insulated conductor.”
