GUJRAT: Three car riders were shot dead and two others were injured in a shooting near Chaohdowal Chowk on the Kharian-Jalalpur Jattan road in the area of Daulat Nagar Police Station on Saturday. Reports said five people riding a car were going to Darwa village after attending a marriage in Alamgarh when they came under attack by the unidentified suspects riding another car. As a result of the firing, Usman of Khanqah Dogran, Sheikhupura, died on the spot whereas Naqash and Shabeer, residents of Darwa and Alamgarh, succumbed to their bullet wounds on the way to the Aziz Bhatti Shaheed Teaching Hospital (ABSTH). Two other persons, Arslan and Munawar Hussain, were shifted to the ABSTH by Rescue 1122. Police also reached the spot and collected the evidence. However, no case was registered yet.
