LAHORE: Child Protection and Welfare Bureau Chairperson Sarah Ahmad represented Pakistan at the inaugural Global Ministerial Conference on Ending Violence against Children held at Bogota, Colombia. Ms Ahmad joined global leaders at this landmark event, hosted by the Colombia government, in collaboration with Sweden, Unicef and WHO. Ms Ayesha Raza Farooq, chairperson of the National Commission on the Rights of Child, accompanied Ms Ahmad at the conference.
