KARACHI: A journalist was shot at and wounded in an armed attack in the Karsaz area on Tuesday evening, police said. They said that unidentified gunmen fired at Nadeem Ahmed as soon as he parked his motorcycle near the office of TV channel, where he worked as a senior reporter. A police spokesperson said in a statement that the gunmen fled in a Vigo. The injured journalist was taken to the Liaquat National Hospital, where doctors said he suffered a bullet wound in the leg and his condition was stated to be out of danger. “We are investigating the incident from different aspects,” said the police. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah took notice of the attack and asked police to investigate the exact motive and arrest the attackers.
