KARACHI: A woman was found dead on the premises of the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) on Wednesday. The Saddar police said in statement that the body of a woman, 40, was found from the New OPD Complex near Jamia Masjid at JPMC. The body bore injury marks on the head and neck, the police said, adding that it was possible that woman was bludgeoned to death. However, they said that they were waiting for doctors to establish the exact cause of her death. Later, the victim was identified as Sabira Khatoon, who lived in Gulistan-i-Jauhar. Her family approached the police and told them that they would lodge a murder FIR. The police examined CCTV footage of the area and came to know that a motorcyclist brought her at the hospital.
