On the occasion, Punjab Information Minister Azma Bokhari said for the first time in Punjab’s history, 3,200 journalists would be allotted plots based on merit. The process for Journalists Housing Scheme Phase-II would be completed in the next few days, she said and added the CM was fulfilling her promise of providing homes to the journalists of Lahore. “All plots will be allotted strictly on merit, and no recommendations will be accepted in this regard,” she said.
