CHARSADDA: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf worker Mohammad Ali, who was allegedly killed during protest at D-Chowk Islamabad, was laid to rest at his native Ghondah Shaheed graveyard in Koz Bahram Dheri here on Thursday. Mohammad Ali, son of Gul Khan, was a resident of Koz Bahram Dheri in Tangi tehsil of Charsadda. A large number of PTI workers, relatives and people of the area attended his funeral prayers. Heartbreaking scenes were witnessed during the burial rituals. His father told journalists on the occasion that his son loved PTI and its founder Imran Khan. He added that he was a fan of Imran Khan. He said that his son also played active role in success of party lawmakers during February 8 elections. He said that Mohammad Ali took permission from his mother before going to participate in the Islamabad sit-in. He said his mother always advised him not to go because there was a risk of blasts and firing but he always insisted that it would be an honour for him if he died for Imran Khan. Gul Khan said that Ali’s mother permitted him to participate in the protest. He said that the deceased asked his mother to arrange Khatm-i-Quran for release of PTI founder. He said that the deceased always spent his own money when there were protests and gatherings of party.
