KHYBER: Police in Bara recovered on Thursday evening the dead body of a retired schoolteacher, who was killed under mysterious condition. Though there was no official word about the circumstances in which the retired teacher identified as Habibullah was killed, sources said that the deceased had gone missing from his home in Jamrud some 10 days ago. They said that Bara police were handed over a suspect by Lakki Marwat police on Thursday, who provided a tip to the whereabouts of the missing retired teacher. They, however, said that instead of recovering the missing teacher alive, his dead body was found at a deserted place in Gandaw locality near Dojangi checkpost in Sipah area. Police said that they registered an FIR and started investigations into the so far blind murder case. Earlier in the day, relatives of the murdered teacher during a press conference in Jamrud criticised police for their failure to track down the missing retired teacher despite lapse of 10 days.
