LAHORE: The Punjab government has appointed Syed Tauqeer Haider Kazmi as the new executive director of the Lahore Arts Council (LAC). Earlier, Kazmi served as the director general of public health in Sargodha. Upon assuming his new responsibilities, Mr Kazmi expressed his commitment to advancing Alhamra’s mission. This appointment marks a significant step in Alhamra’s journey with the expectation that Kazmi’s leadership would bring new energy in one of Punjab’s most esteemed cultural institutions.
