BAJAUR: The Tali tribe of Salarzai tehsil on Sunday decided to expel from the area the people found involved in militancy, drug trade, theft and other unlawful activities. They made the decision during a jirga held here to keep the area free of all sorts of criminal and anti-social activities. Scores of elders and youth belonging to all villages of the region participated in the jirga. The jirga was informed that the area had largely been cleared of criminal and anti-social elements, and that there was need for more efforts to take on the handful of criminal elements still lurking in the region. It was decided at the jirga that the houses of the people found involved in militancy, drug trade, thefts and other anti-social activities would also be set on fire. The jirga also announced to get cases registered against such people.
