Mardan trade expo from 27th

MARDAN: All arrangements have been finalised for the Trade, Solar Agricultural Mega Expo, scheduled to take place from November 27 to 29, aimed at promoting and highlighting local businesses. Addressing a press conference here on Sunday, City Mayor Hiamatullah Mayar advocate, Markazi Tanzeem-i-Tajaraan president Ihsanullah Bacha and Mardan Chamber of Small Trader and Industrypresident Taj Mohammad along with large number of traders briefed the journalists on the subject. Ihsanullah Bacha informed reporters that the expo would be held in cooperation with the city local government for the benefit of the district’s residents and local business community. He said that the event would continue from 9 am to 10 pm over the scheduled three consecutive days. He pointed out that presentations on agriculture, solar energy, and trade would be given to the participants of the expo. He added that women entrepreneurs had also been invited to take part in the event. Mr Bacha stated that traders and businesspeople from various fields would set up their stalls at the expo to ensure participants could fully benefit from the event. He asserted that although it was their first trading-related event, they had intended to have more of these expos in the future. Speaking on the occasion, City Mayor Himayatullah Mayar declared that the city administration would completely support and collaborate with the event in order to strengthen the district’s economy. He urged the representatives of traders’ community to ensure maximum participation of trading bodies for presentation of their products. The city mayor invited local residents to participate in large numbers to ensure the success of the event.
