CJP Afridi chairs meetings on reforms, tax cases

ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Yahya Afridi on Thursday presided over two meetings aimed at improving service delivery and expanding access to justice. The first meeting was attended by Justices Ayesha A. Malik and Bilal Hassan, along with Registrar Supreme Court Muhammad Salim Khan. The meeting reviewed progress on IT advancements, case management improvements, human resource optimisation, capacity building, training initiatives and broader public consultation. The other meeting, aimed at addressing pending tax cases, was attended by the representatives of the tax bar and the FBR legal team.
