Missing young man found dead in drain

SUKKUR: Body a missing young man was found in Sim-Nullah (saline water drain) near Thehri village within the jurisdiction of Thehri police station in Khairpur district on Sunday. The area’s police took out of the body from the Sim Nullah with the help of villagers and shifted it to nearby hospital for post mortem examination. It was identified as that of 25-year-old Zulfiqar Ali Ghanbhir, a resident of Waris Ghanbhir village. The body was handed over to heirs after completion of medico-legal formalities. Relatives and family sources said the young man had left his house two days ago and nobody knew where he had gone until his body was found near Thehri. Police had not registered a case about the incident Seven people including roadside vendors suffered injured when a van ploughed into them after colliding with a rickshaw and a push-cart on Shikarpar road near Bholan locality in Jacobabad on Sunday. The wounded passengers and pedestrians identified as Abdul Hadi Jatoi, Mohammad Siddiq Aarbani, Mohammad Ramzan Gorshani, Shehzado Mahar, Swali Junjo, Hussain Bakhsh Machhi and Attaullah Brohi were shifted to Civil Hospital where they were provided treatment.
