RAWALPINDI: A woman was killed while another man was injured critically after a wall of an under-construction house collapsed in Madina Colony on Girja Road on Sunday. According to Rescue services 1122, a woman identified as Waseerat Bibi, 35, died after being trapped in the rubble of a wall that collapsed on her. Beside her, another man identified as Mohammad Imran, 30, sustained multiple bone fractures; however his condition was stated to be stable. Shortly after the incident, the emergency service staff reached the scene and retrieved the people trapped in the debris. The woman was pronounced dead while the injured was shifted to the hospital. In another incident, a man was shot dead by his brother over a domestic dispute in Saddar Bairooni area while another young man was murdered in the limit of Chauntra over old enmity.
