‘Sacrifices of martyrs’ will not go in vain, says MWM leader

The MWM leader urged Muslim rulers to learn from the life of Yahya Al-Sinwar, who spent 22 years in prison in Israel and taught the lesson of knowing one’s enemy. KARACHI: The Majlis Wahdat-i-Muslimeen (MWM) has organised a ‘Martyrs Conference’ in Nishtar Park to show solidarity with people of Palestine and Lebanon and pay tributes to “the martyrs of struggle for freedom”. The MWM leaders vowed to continue their moral and political support for the oppressed nations. The conference was addressed by leaders of Hamas and Hezbollah leaders over the phone who lauded the support of Pakistani people against the Israeli brutalities. In his address, MWM leader Senator Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari highlighted the sacrifices of Hassan Nasrallah, Ismail Haniyeh, Yahya Sinwar, and Hashem Safieddine and said that the “sacrifices of martyrs” in the struggle for freedom would not go in vain. He said ‘Al-Qassam Storm’ has “broken the back of America, Israel, and global powers” and the blood of innocent children and women will not go to waste He called Israel a cancer for the region and referred to the sacrifices of great leaders of Hamas and Hezbollah who taught the Muslim world to fight against oppressors and invaders. He mentioned that Israel has occupied the land of Palestine, and Gaza has become a human prison. The conference was also addressed by leaders from the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan, Jamaat-i-Islami, Awami Tehreek and various scholars and clerics.
