Soldier laid to rest

KOHAT: Lance Naik Daud Bangash an official of army, who embraced martyrdom in a gun battle with terrorists in Khyber tribal district the other day, was laid to rest with full military honour in his hometown on Tuesday. Floral wreaths were placed on his grave by officials of his unit. He had sacrificed his life during an exchange of fire with terrorists in Bagh area of Khyber district the other day. Lance Naik Daud Bangash, a resident of Banda Dost Mohammad of Dhodha union council, embraced martyrdom when he along with his team was hunting down terrorists during an operation in Khyber. A large number of people, including army men, elders, residents of the union council, religious scholars and relatives attended his funeral prayers.
