‘Unprecedented violations’: UN right chief denounces Israel army conduct

The UN Human Rights Office says justice must be served after issuing a report showing the deadly effects of Israel’s military attack on Gaza for more than a year. UN Human Rights Chief Volker Turk highlighted “atrocity crimes” and demanded Israel immediately follow its obligation under international law to protect Gaza’s civilians.
