ISLAMABAD: Senator Faisal Vawda on Tuesday claimed the PTI has given a call for a sit-in on Nov 24 to avoid the indictment of its founding chairman Imran Khan. Mr Vawda, however, did not mention in which case the indictment of Mr Khan is possible. Apparently, he was talking about the . Speaking at a press conference here, he criticised the US and said it should not interfere in the internal affairs of Pakistan. He said the Congress has come forward to support Mr Khan, but it did not bother about violations of human rights in Palestine and held Kashmir. US criticised for interfering in internal affairs of Pakistan Mr Vawda, who was once very close to former prime minister Khan, claimed there was a small group of what he called compromised people around the PTI founder, which was protecting its own interest. He said it was unfortunate that resources of KP were being used for protests, warning it will be the last call of protest from the founder of PTI. Mr Vawda said the PTI protest will fail and it will not be possible for the party workers to get their leader released from Adiala jail. Although Mr Vawda asserted that he has nothing to do with the government, he said the PTI workers will not be allowed to enter the Red Zone, adding that a separate place will be allocated to PTI to hold protest there. The former PTI leader claimed that it will be a “social gathering instead of the protest”. Mr Vawda claimed if the PTI violated the rules, the court will intervene. He also criticised leaders of PTI and asked why they do not bring their children to Pakistan. He also slammed the US Congress and the UN for making statements about in Pakistan and questioned why these organisations were silent about Dr Aafia Siddiqui, destruction of Afghanistan and attacks on former President Donald Trump in the US.
