President, PM reiterate support for Palestinians’ right to self-determination

President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have reaffirmed unwavering support for the inalienable right to self-determination of Palestinians, reports. As the world marks , President Zardari strongly condemned the unabated Israel’s aggression ongoing in Gaza and demanded an end to the “genocide of Palestinian people”. In his message, PM Shehbaz said the Palestinian people have been “bravely enduring a campaign of unending genocidal violence”, the report added. The premier highlighted that Israel had carried out the “blatant slaughter” of over 43,000 Palestinians. Foreign Secretary Amna Baloch, speaking at the second meeting of the Global Alliance for the Implementation of the Two-State Solution held in Belgium, called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and advocated for a comprehensive resolution to the Palestinian issue. She also emphasised the need for full membership of Palestine in the United Nations.
