AWKU syndicate member elected

CHARSADDA: Abrar Hussain Umarzai, deputy provost and transport in-charge of Abdul Wali Khan University (AWKU), Mardan, has been elected as a member of the varsity’s syndicate for a period of three years. The syndicate elections were held here the other day. The varsity registrar issued a notification of his appointment. Talking to mediapersons, Mr Umarzai said his appointment was the result of the support of teachers, and to live up to their trust, he would work with all members of the syndicate for making the varsity an institute of quality learning. He said they would make every effort to ensure the welfare of teachers.
