Meghan Markle appears to be off to a good start as she is checking off big things off her list following her long-awaited return in Instagram. The Duchess of Sussex dropped her first post on Wednesday from her account (@Meghan), in which she is seen frolicking on the beach in a white ensemble. In the video clip, which is believed to be filmed by husband Prince Harry, Meghan writes ‘2025’ in the sand to the new year. When the video was posted onto the account, it did not bear any verification from the social media platform. However, in less than 24 hours, the account received its blue tick. Meghan has quickly garnered 694K followers on new account with a special nod from her A-lister pals including Serena Williams, Chrissy Teigen, Kris Jenner, Oprah Winfrey. The duchess previously hinted at her return to social media during a 2023 interview with The Cut, revealing she was eager to get back onto social media. Towards the end of last year, Prince Harry and Meghan seemingly soft launched their ‘professional separation’ as they pursued their own individual ventures. As Meghan gears up to launch her lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, it seems that the former Suits actress will be focusing on the spotlight on herself and the brand in a bid to dissociate from her image attached to Prince Harry.
