Balochistan governor stresses dialogue for unity

QUETTA: Balochistan Governor Jaffar Khan Mandokhail has underlined the need to foster dialogue among political parties and civil sociey to address the challenges faced by the country. Speaking at the National Security Workshop (NSW) at the Governor House in Quetta, he said: “Dialogue in politics bridges differences, harmonises diverse voices and paves the way for open communication.” “We can no longer afford internal conflicts and divisions. It is essential to cultivate a collective spirit and adopt a national perspective to secure a prosperous and bright future for all,” he said. The governor shared his insights and highlighted government initiatives aimed at resolving these challenges during the event. He described Balochistan as a resource-rich province with strategic importance as a gateway to Central Asia and stressed the importance of creating more employment opportunities.
