Shortly after the much-anticipated second season of the Korean thriller was released last Thursday, Netflix dropped the first teaser of season 3 on New Year’s Day. The 16-second clip opens with three new players in their tracksuits stepping into an arena where the giant Red Light, Green Light doll Young-hee’s back is shown. Her face was then featured on the screen at a railroad crossing, where a baby doll is revealed on the other side of the tracks, looking back at her. The latest annpuncement comes after ‘s highly anticipated second season, which consists of seven episodes, hit the stream on December 26. As fans couldn’t get enough of season 2, Netflix made sure to grace them with a third instalment. season 3 is scheduled to release in 2025. No specific release date has been announced yet, but the series director, writer and executive producer Hwang Dong-hyuk opened up about the release date.
