Wapda to face Navy in national netball final

KARACHI: Wapda and Navy secured berths in the National Inter Department Men’s Netball Championship final here at the PSB Coaching Centre on Friday. Both the teams won their matches against Police on the second day of the three-team tournament with comfortable scores. First Wapda defeated Police 31-14 and then Navy thrashed them 32-10. The final will be played on Saturday at the same venue. The championship, organised by the Pakistan Netball Federation, will be followed by the National Inter Provincial Men’s Netball Championship, which also starts on Saturday. Four teams will vie for honours in the inter-provincial event, featuring Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Punjab and Sindh.
