Four madressah students injured in Turbat grenade attack

GWADAR: Four madressah students were injured in a grenade attack by unidentified individuals in the Malikabad area of Turbat, Kech district, on Wednesday. According to police, a motorcyclist threw a hand grenade near Madressah Jamia Ishat-al-Toheed, injuring four students. Police and rescue teams rushed to the site and shifted the injured to Turbat district hospital for medical treatment. “It was a hand grenade explosion. Four children studying at the madressah sustained injuries,” senior police officer Hassan Dashti said, adding that a search operation has been launched to apprehend those responsible for the attack.
