Gas pipeline destroyed in Quetta explosion, major areas left without gas supply

A gas pipeline on Quetta’s Western Bypass was destroyed in an explosion, leaving a significant portion of the city without gas supply. According to the fire brigade in-charge, the explosion ignited a fire in the pipeline, which was promptly brought under control by emergency teams. Repair work has already commenced to restore the gas supply as soon as possible.
