BAHAWALPUR: An elderly man was allegedly burnt alive on Tuesday night in a fire incident in Mohalla Aam Khas. As per Rescue 1122, the fire erupted due to leakage in an LPG cylinder attached to a heater kept in the room by the family of the deceased Muhammad Hassan (80). As a result, Hassan suffered serious burns and later expired. PTI south Punjab President Senator Auon Abbas Bappi was granted bail before arrest in the fourth case registered against him in connection with a party protest in October. Earlier, he was granted bail in other three cases.
