ISLAMABAD: Some unknown people pelted stones at a metro bus, smashing its three window glasses and caused panic among passengers near Bari Imam shrine on Friday. Sources said the CDA bus (EV-075) was on its way from Bari Imam to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (Pims). When it reached Muslim Colony Stop near Bari Imam, some unknown persons started the vehicle with stones. As a result, three window glasses were broken. However, CDA officials said no one was injured. Sources said in the past too, some unknown people had pelted stones at metro buses. “We are in process of getting an FIR registered of this incident. May be some rowdy youth of the area is involved in this incident. But we will not ignore it; it’s a matter of concern for us and we want a thorough probe into the matter,” an official said.
