NAWABSHAH: A man died after a goods train ran over him when he walking across rail tracks near Nawabshah railway station on Friday. The body identified as that of Waheed Ansari, a resident of Padidan town, was shifted by locals and Edhi volunteers to Peoples Medical University Hospital. It was handed over to heirs after completion of medico-legal formalities. A married woman died by suicide after consuming some pesticidal substance in Hamzo Chandio village near Qazi Ahmed town on Friday. The victim’s family said that Farhana Chandio had been heartbroken since she was divorced by her husband Pyaro Chandio and reportedly decided to end her life. The body was shifted to Qazi Ahmed taluka hospital for medico-legal formalities.
