LAHORE: The Punjab Board of Revenue (BoR) on Friday announced launching a comprehensive dashboard to evaluate performance of the commissioners and deputy commissioners across the province. The decision was taken in a meeting presided over by Senior Member Board of Revenue (SMBR) Nabeel Javed. The meeting was attended by Secretary Revenue Board Hafiz Ahmed Tariq, Punjab Land Records Authority DG Ikramul Haq and other senior officials. The dashboard will be designed to monitor performance of divisional commissioners and district deputy commissioners across Punjab, Javed said. He stated that under the BoR’s performance indicators, verified data from various Punjab divisions and districts had been submitted online to the Punjab Land Records Authority for digitization. The dashboard would evaluate performance based on the key indicators such as resolved cases, field visits, facilities for citizens, innovation and expansion projects, leasing and auctioning of government land, distribution and mutations and recovery of government dues. Performance scores will be assigned to these indicators for a transparent assessment of officials’ efficiency. This initiative will also be extended to monitoring performance of BoR members, ensuring accountability and streamlined governance across Punjab, Javed said.
