300,000 houses for Sindh’s flood-hit families completed

KARACHI: The Sindh People’s Housing Foundation (SPHF) has completed the construction of more than 300,000 houses, the government announced on Friday. According to a statement, 810,000 houses are in various stages of completion as part of the “world’s largest housing project”. Through this project, houses will be constructed for more than 2.1 million families displaced in the in Sindh. The statement said all these houses are being built keeping in mind the challenges of climate change. It said that Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah will participate in in Baku later this month and brief the participants about the measures taken by SPHF and environmental protection.
