MUZAFFARGARH: A man was allegedly murdered on his wedding night in tehsil Alipur and his body was found in the fields in the morning. The victim was identified as Muhammad Shahid, a resident of village Thal Mengraj in the limits of Khairpur Sadaat Police Station. Police said Shahid went out to take a bath on his wedding night but did not come back. His family started searching for him but in vain. On Sunday, his body was found in the fields. On receiving information, police reached the spot and launched an investigation. They said Shahid was strangled by unidentified suspects. No case has been registered yet.
