LAHORE: Punjab Information Minister Azma Bokhari says she could not spot any ‘revolutionary’ of the (PTI) in the Punjab capital as people rejected the ‘fitna’ and the ‘fitna party.’ Speaking at a press conference here on Sunday, she said she went to different Lahore areas like Lakshmi Chowk, Simla Pahari, Haji Camp, Railway Station, Badami Bagh bus stand, Minar-i-Pakistan, Azadi Flyover, Charing Cross, etc., but could not see any revolutionary of the PTI and even the Lahore leadership of the party was missing from the scene. She said the people of Punjab rejected the ‘fitna’ (Imran Khan) and the “fitna party” (PTI) by not responding to its “do or die” call for protest to win release of the party founder. She noted that most markets and roads in Lahore remained open, and no revolutionary members of PTI were seen anywhere. Ms Bokhari added that there were no reports of people taking to the streets as vehicular traffic was normal on the city roads and daily life was functioning normally. She pointed out that most markets in the city were also open, while no significant movement of PTI workers was reported anywhere in Punjab either.
