The funeral for three people killed in overnight attacks on al-Bureij refugee camp has taken place, Hani Mahmoud of reports from Deir el-Balah, central Gaza “The victims were siblings — a brother and two of his sisters. They were killed inside their home, and it wasn’t until late last night that volunteers and surviving family members were able to remove the bodies from under the debris,” the reporter said. “In the Nuseirat refugee camp, two more people were killed in an Israeli drone strike on a residential flat,’ Mahmoud added. Meanwhile, in Gaza City, four people were killed in an attack on a residential home as the ongoing intense bombing campaign in the northern part of the Strip continues, he added. “Amid all of this, international organisations, including the United Nations, are unable to do any of their work on the ground in a safe manner — the UN relief chief expressed concern over Israel’s inability or willingness to provide any sort of security to those ensuring the entry of humanitarian trucks into the Gaza Strip,” he said.
