ISLAMABAD: Pakistan players Nadir Mirza and Talha Khan faced defeat in the semi-finals of the ITF Pakistan J30 Ali Embroidery World Junior Tennis Championship here at the PTF Complex on Friday. In the first semi-final, Sion Ji of Korea overcame Nadir 6-4, 3-6, 7-5 while Xiuyuan Guo of China beat Talha 6-2, 6-4 in the other last-4 match. Dianara Di Silava of Sri Lanka beat Korea’s So Yuna 6-3, 6-4 in the girls’ semi-final and faces in the final Kazakhstan’s Karolina Ligai who routed Korea’s A Hyun Jo 7-5, 6-1 in the other semi. Korean girls Yeonn Joo Cha and So Yuna beat Japanese Haruhi Katsube and Hinata Wada 6-1, 7-6 (10) to win the doubles title.
