LAKKI MARWAT: Lakki Marwat deputy commissioner Zeeshan Abdullah took serious notice of the poor condition of a bridge on busy Bannu-Mianwali Road, and asked the relevant authorities to fix it without delay. Big cracks had appeared in the Graban Bridge on the main artery connecting Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with Punjab and Islamabad via the CPEC Route a few weeks ago, prompting local residents to voice their concerns over it. Through social media platforms, they demanded early repair of the broken bridge located near the Lakki city to avoid any fatal accident. The deputy commissioner along with other officials inspected the damaged bridge and issued instructions to relevant authorities to launch repair and maintenance work immediately. He said that under the chief minister’s public service agenda, his administration would ensure provision of better services and basic amenities of life to the citizens.
