QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti has said that long-term planning is under way to address challenges posed by climate change in the province. He expressed these views at a organised to distribute relief cheques among flood victims, where the special guest was Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari. He praised PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari for securing international grants for rehabilitation of people hit by 2022 floods in Sindh and Balochistan. The event was attended by Mir Ijaz Jakhrani, Sabir Baloch, Mir Muhammad Sadiq Umrani, Mir Ali Hasan Zehri, Abdul Khaliq Achakzai, Ghazala Gola and others. The CM thanked the PPP leader for effectively presenting Balochistan’s issues at the federal level and for adopting a principled stance. He held out an assurance that under his guidance, viable projects for the development of Balochistan would be completed, and efforts would continue to improve the standard of living of the masses.
