DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Two brothers were shot dead by unidentified gunmen in Gara Budha area in the limits of Saddar police station in Tank district on Tuesday. The deceased brothers were identified as village nazim Qari Mohammad Idrees and Qari Mohammad Ishaq. They were brothers of JUI-F local leader Maulana Kifayatullah. The deceased were ambushed and shot and killed on the spot near Pir Kach while returning to Tank. Police have initiated an investigation to trace the culprits behind the attack. Their funeral prayers were offered in their ancestral village Gara Budha where a large number of locals gathered to pay their respects. This tragic event has created an atmosphere of fear and distress in the area, leaving the community in mourning.
