Three killed, 30 injured as coach overturns in Mastung

QUETTA: Three passengers were killed and over 30 others, including women and children, injured when a speeding passenger coach overturned in the Lakpass area of Mastung district on Tuesday. According to police, the Karachi-bound passenger coach coming from Quetta lost control and overturned in the Lakpass area. The crash resulted in the deaths of three passengers, while more than 30 others sustained injuries. Police and rescue teams rushed to area and shifted the injured and the bodies to the hospital. The driver was reportedly trying to avoid a collision with a motorcyclist on the Quetta-Karachi highway when the accident occurred. Bullet-riddled bodies of three brothers found in Kalat In a separate incident, bullet-riddled bodies of three brothers were recovered by the Levies Force in the Johan area of Kalat district in Balochistan on Tuesday. According to Levies officials, they were informed by locals about three bodies found in the Namak area of tehsil Johan. The bodies were taken to the Rural Health Centre in Mangochar. The deceased were identified as Sharifullah, Azmatullah, and Sohrab, all sons of Habibullah and members of the Lehri tribe. According to hospital officials, the victims had multiple gunshot wounds to the upper parts of their bodies, which led to their immediate death. The bodies appeared to be at least two days old. After completing the medico-legal formalities, the bodies were handed over to the families. A case has been registered, and an investigation is under way. The motive behind the killings remains unclear. The family has not yet named any suspects.
