E-Service Centre opens in Rahim Yar Khan

RAHIM YAR KHAN: A state of the art E-Service Centre (E-Khidmat Markaz), established by the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB), started functioning here on Saturday. The building of this centre is situated on Sadiq Branch Canal bank near Adda Khanpur bridge where 18 different provincial and federal government departments will provide more than 160 services to the public. Director General of Digital Services Punjab (DSP) Muhammad Wasim Bhatti with Deputy Commissioner Khuram Pervez inaugurated the services. On this occasion, DC Pervez said the Markaz was a gift from the chief minister for the people of RYK where services including domicile, character certificate, e-stamp paper, land ownership document, post office and Nadra E-Sahulat with 154 other services through one window operation. He said after the start of this center, the load on district government offices would reduce.Wasim Bhatti said that more than 2,500 persons would get services by visiting this center daily and at a time more than 50 persons will be facilitated.
