‘Extortionists’ kill two boys in Lakki

LAKKI MARWAT: Armed men killed two boys and injured their relative after they refused to pay extortion money to them in Tor Lawangkhel area of Lakki Marwat district on Monday, the police said. They said Shahid Kamal and Inayatullah attacked Taj Wali, 22, Sohail, 23, and Ikramullah, 35, when they were going to Asmatabad Ghaznikhel area on a motorcycle to witness a football match. They said Wali and Sohail died instantly, while Ikramullah was injured. The killers escaped the crime scene, injured Iktramullah told Ghaznikhel police, saying both the suspects had kidnapped Sohail a few days ago and were also demanding extortion money for his release. The police said the bodies and the injured were shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital, Tajazai, for postmortem. The police began an investigation after lodging a case against the suspects under sections 302, 324 and 34 of Pakistan Penal Code.
